This is the very real, very cruel and terribly punishing cost of the radicalized woke tyranny…this suffering is undeserved and represents a gross injustice that must not go unchallenged.
The family of this brave man should be entitled to an award from TDSB and that "training institute" for the loss of their loved one. They drove him to it, there should be consequences for their actions. My heart goes out to his friends and family left without him in their lives.
I am so deeply sorry. Suicide is such a hard loss. My heart goes out to Mr. Bilkszto’s loved ones. “Say not in grief that he is no more but say in thankfulness that he was. A death is not the extinguishing of the light but the putting out of the light because dawn has come” Ravindranath Tagore
Reminds me of the bullying of Reena Virk. Murder by bullying. Dystopian nightmare out of Lord of the Flies. So sickening. The committee should be held liable for involuntary manslaughter? Not sure how the law applies. Hope this truly wakes people up. This is sickening. My heart goes out to his family and community. When is enough, enough? DEI is dangerous. Any neomarxist/Maoist based ideology should not be a Canadian approach. Equality yes. Racism is racism, no matter the color or identity. Identitarianism must stop. Just because academics changed the definition of racism does not make it right.
Its called DIE for a reason. The Diversity, Inclusion, Equity framework really has nothing to do with making a better world, its really about trying to brainwash people into viewing the world as a Manichean struggle between 'oppressor' and 'oppressed' groups of people, as defined by the promoters of these ideas. It is utterly cynical and ultimately based on resentment, which is why when innocent people push back against the obvious exaggerations and manipulations of the trainers, they are castigated as members of the 'oppressor' class, to whom no mercy is given. Its outrageous, toxic and and totally illiberal. All good people must speak against it.
Yes. Resentment is the word, the core of it. There is zero self-awareness. As I think Nietzsche would have it, one's world view can be driven by either resentment or gratitude. There's humility in the latter, only pride in the former.
The dignity with which this fellow's death is being reported is the dignity that he (and all of us) deserve in life. Very said that he was denied very fundamental respect.
Although I find myself lost for words, upon reading the statement released by Richard Bilkszto's family, I must add my personal heartfelt condolences for the loss, of what was very clearly, a deeply caring and dedicated human being.
The thought that he was subjected to unfair and inhumane treatment because of a difference of perspective on the issues of Education and Meritocracy, arises within me a deep sense of righteous anger.
Reminiscent of schoolyard bullies, I would never have imagined that I would see the day when "adults" would cause the same type of hurt and unfair pain to peers that we, as parents, spend years of serious energy to teach our immature, yet growing, children against.
I find it incomprehensible that the very people who will challenge the "morals" of someone who does not agree with their assessment of "social justice" are the very ones whose mistreatment of dissenters contribute to the unexpected and senseless loss of valuable human life.
My personal concern for the welfare of all human beings has led me to a lifetime of observation and learning to help me interact uniquely, below the surface, with each individual I meet. The adage, "Hurt people hurt people" has proven over and over to be true.
From a young age, I was taught to forgive those whose hurt and anger lead them to lash out indiscriminately. "Turning the other cheek" is a necessary practice in order to offer forgiveness to those who hurt others due to their personal hurts and dissatisfactions. I continue to believe that this is a valid and necessary practice.
With the advent of the deep political divisions that I have witnessed over the past several years in our Nation, and of which I have also been a casualty, I have come to feel that there are MANY whose bad behavior has no valid excuse.
May God help them to see their selfish and deeply misguided actions and the deep and immoral harms they are causing.
I will be making a special donation to FAIR in Honor of the Life and Work of Richard Bilkszto. God bless his family and all those who were so blessed to have such a special person in their lives. May Richard be long remembered for the love and energy he gave to mankind with his many years as an Educator and his work with FAIR.
I am so deeply saddened that his life was cut short aided by anger, vitriol and, unfair mischaracterization of who he was as a person by other humans. Rest in peace, Richard. 🙏🏻

I hope for comfort and strength for his family and friends. And, I hope justice is still served.
Very sad. The woke have no mercy.
The woke are ruthless and soulless.

I hope the lawsuit can go on especially in context of the last sentence from the lawyers statement.
My condolences and thanks to Richard’s family.
Condolences to Richard’s family and friends. He was someone to be admired - for his integrity, honesty, and advocacy. May his legacy live on.

Stay strong everyone who fights the good fight. RIP Richard.
The sadness of this brave and clearly hardworking soul is painful. Toronto has no idea it’s loss...as the brave die-tyranny flourishes.
In the name of the Good many inhuman actions are done.
They know how to pave the road to hell.
How do we create awareness and honour his life? How can people help?

100% correct. Only gratitude will bring someone success and happiness in the long term.
