My understanding from people who I know are involved in this organization, like Steven Pinker and Kmele Foster, that the organization is open to differences of opinion. That's why I like it. Some people prefer groupthink. Not me.

What involvement do they actually have other than displaying their picture up on the website to attract people to the org?
I don't know. But they're both people I trust and I don't think they'd put their name on it if it wasn't an honestly run organization.
