Loved this. Yes: we all have so much more in COMMON than different. Everything today is about perception and focus: How we perceive issues and where we place our focus. Currently we’re going through a very regressive time politically on both sides; clearly. Both sides seem to be unable to grapple with reality; both sides grossly oversimplify contemporary and historical issues. Republicans banning books isn’t good...but neither is the extremism of CRT and The 1619 Project. Between these two polls is where most Americans exist, but the media loves a bottom line, and they make profit off our division and rage. Sad but true. Obviously things are much, much better for most Americans of any race or gender in 2022 versus say 1960. That’s indisputable. The data shows is this, clear as filtered water. Anyone denying that is choosing to not participate in reality. Are things perfect? Of course not! They never will be because we’re a society of human beings.
