Terrific piece, Karen. I particularly appreciate your articulation of wanting to create "Art that finds itself in places its creator did not expect to go." Yes. I couldn't agree more -- as an artist, and as an audience to it. So much of what is produced now is PREDICTABLE, which I find far more offensive than what actually gets labeled "offensive" these days.
