How talking to strangers on the bus changed my views on race
I made a bit of a journey like this through several years of rescue involvement, meeting with diverse ministers and on mission with diverse fellow activists, closing down abortion mills together, spending some times in several lock-up facilities together and in a life-altering moment during a planning session, holding in my arms a tiny rescued new-born baby who was being cared for by the rescue community as an adoption process began.
I learned by observation how this was a beautifully dark little boy who was so very trusting, so very lovable and so very, you know, human.
